The first snow of the season is falling. It has snowed prior to today but melted almost as soon as it landed. this one will stay, for how long, only the season knows.

I got the fiunal preparations for the new garden bed completed the starw and leaves are down.

This will be a cut flower garden, behind the garage, beauty and sustenance for the eyes and mind.

I am looking for containers as the vegetable and herb gardens will be container ones. the large tree makes growing in the earth too difficult and i am not willing to cut the tree and remove the roots.

So I am on the lookout for half barrels or any other container that is about two feet across.

These will be placed around the yard from back to front and on the deck. There is a good side garden that gets too much shade to grow most fruits and I am not quite sure yet what will be placed there, something to consider over the winter.
